TUMWATER, Wash. -- A 32-year-old father was arrested for suspicion of DUI and child endangerment after rolling his car with three of his children inside on northbound I-5 near Tumwater Wednesday night, the Washington State Patrol said.

The three children, ages 5, 7 and 10, were transported to a local hospital as a precaution and later released to their mother, State Patrol trooper Guy Gill said.

Their father was not injured, Gill said.

The dad, who was not immediately identified, was being booked into the Thurston County Jail late Wednesday night.
