Pedestrian hit by two cars, killed while crossing I-5

EVERETT -- A man was killed Saturday night when he crossed five lanes of traffic on southbound I-5 near Everett.

Troopers say the 53-year-old Tukwila man was crossing from the right shoulder when he was struck by a car in the fourth lane -- then by another car in the fifth lane.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The drivers were not hurt.

Washington State Patrol says no charges will be filed.
