One last spring shower before summer starts?

SEATTLE -- Scattered showers will move in tonight ahead of a cold front. Most of the rain should fall overnight, but we will likely see a few lingering showers throughout the day tomorrow.

I’m thinking that we will see a mix of sun, clouds and a few raindrops here and there to kick off the weekend, but things start clearing on Saturday.

High pressure builds into the state for the first day of Summer (not July 5th) and then amplifies on Sunday.

This will drive temperatures to near 80 degrees on Sunday and Monday before starting to cool a bit on Tuesday.
