Help investigators find hit-and-run suspect that left a cyclist hurt on the street

HARBOR ISLAND — Seattle police investigators need your help finding a suspect who hit a cyclist in Harbor Island and drove off.

Witnesses found the cyclist seriously hurt — he was lying in the street at 11th Avenue SW and Spokane Street around 8:30 p.m. on May 22nd.

He was taken to Harborview with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

Investigators said they used fragments of the car to identify the suspect car as a Saturn S series. They said the car is metallic blue and after the crash it would have been missing the passenger side mirror.

Detectives want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the crime or have seen a car matching this description. Call Detective Andrew Norton at 206-684-8934.
