Spring ends wet, but summer starts warm!

SEATTLE -- A weak ridge of high pressure is responsible for the slow clearing this afternoon. It will remain in place through tonight as slightly cooler air slips in through partly cloudy skies. Overnight lows near 51 degrees.

Tomorrow will see a mix of sun and clouds before a front pushes through tomorrow evening. That will kick off scattered showers that will linger throughout the day on Friday.

As we press into the first day of summer on Saturday, however, the weather turns dry and afternoon sunshine will prevail!

Expect highs to be near 75 degrees on Sunday, pushing closer to 80 degrees on Sunday. We will start to cool things down slowly heading into the middle of next week.
