Hit and miss rain for Father's Day weekend

SEATTLE -- Rain has returned to the forecast, but only in a 'hit and miss’ capacity for now.

We have a couple of weak disturbances that will sail through Western Washington this weekend that will provide scattered showers here and there.

Today is a good example: the South Sound saw quite a bit of sunshine as did spots in the North Sound. But here in the Central Sound, we had mostly clouds and light rain.

Highs will remain in the 60s through Tuesday.

We will start to clear by midweek, with more sunshine and temperatures easing back into the 70s.
