Some rain returns to Western Washington

SEATTLE -- A ring around the sun usually means rain within 24 hours.

Thursday will bring some rain in the afternoon but almost all of it will be outside of the main Metro areas. The foothills look wet and there will be some isolated thunderstorms. Breezy and cooler for all.

Friday starts out with some passing showers but looks mainly dry in the evening.

Saturday and Father’s day will mostly dry with some sunny periods.

Look for the full “strawberry” moon Thursday night into Friday the 13th.
