SEATTLE -- Less than two months after securing a sweet new contract with the Seattle Seahawks, Richard Sherman has a new home.

According to the Seattle PI, Sherman, 26, paid $2.3-million to buy a 9,435-square-foot Maple Valley home Friday. The home formally belonged to NBA star and Seattle native Jamal Crawford, who now plays for the Los Angeles Clippers.
