Wildfire forces 250 homes to evacuate in Oregon (VIDEO)

BEND, Oregon -- A wildfire burning west of Bend has grown to more than 6,180 acres, according to the Oregon Department of Forestry.

Officials have evacuated 250 homes and say 2,000 other homes are considered threatened.

More than 300 firefighters are working the Two Bulls Wildfire. They're working to make containment lines to keep the fire from spreading south and east.

Crews are also focusing efforts on the west end of the fire near Bend's watershed.

The two fires were reported Saturday afternoon. They are burning on Deschutes National Forest and private lands protected by the Oregon Department of Forestry.

Officials say the two fires have not completely merged, but they are being managed as one fire.

Increasing temperatures and wind are creating dangerous conditions.
