TRAFFIC WARNING: Closures on 3 major highways this weekend

SEATTLE -- It's going to be tough driving in and out of Seattle this weekend. Major construction projects will tie up parts of I-5, SR 99 and the SR 520 floating bridge.

The Washington State Department of Transportation tries to schedule these big construction projects around holidays and major events to reduce the impact, but they still have to get the work done sometime during the summer.
