$50-thousand reward offered after Tukwila mail carrier robbed at gunpoint

TUKWILA, Wash - A U.S. Postal Service letter carrier was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon outside an apartment complex in Tukwila.

The USPS said it is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the robber.

Officials said the letter carrier was outside an apartment complex at 5715 S. 152nd Place when a man approached with a gun. The letter carrier wasn’t hurt, but the gunman did get away with an undisclosed amount of mail.

Here’s the description of the gunman as released by the USPS:

Asian male in his early 20s, approximately 5’5” with medium build, no facial hair. Suspect was wearing a black stocking cap, royal blue sweatshirt, dark athletic pants, and black athletic shoes.
