YUCK! You'll never believe what this man tried to burn outside of a police station

SEATTLE -- Just imagine the smell.

A man was booked into King County Jail Sunday for allegedly defecating behind Seattle police's East Precinct building and attempting to burn the evidence in an alleyway.

According to the Seattle Police Department, officers inside the East Precinct station in the 1500 block of 12th Avenue were notified of a fire in the alleyway directly behind the precinct around 11 a.m. Sunday. Officers quickly ran outside and found a fire burning feet from a trash can and dumpster.

A man stood above the fire and was spotted throwing something on the flames as police walked out. Firefighters called to the scene put out the flames before it spread.

Police detained the man, who allegedly admitted to starting the fire, saying he didn't know starting a blaze in an alleyway was illegal. The man allegedly told police he started the fire to burn away feces he had left in the alley.

The man was arrested for suspicion of reckless burning and placed into the King County Jail.
