Tips to Spokane County’s ‘Crime Check’ lead to wanted fugitive breaking probation after getting busted on bicycle

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office says tips called into ‘Crime Check’ led to the arrest of Jessie Spears in an apartment bathroom.

He was booked into the Spokane County Jail on Saturday.

Spokane police pulled over convicted drug dealer, Jessie Spears, for not wearing one. He had a felony warrant for his arrest, and when they searched his backpack, they found a bunch of meth bagged up.

Now, he’s breaking probation on his drug bust and wanted on two warrants for escape: One by the Department of Corrections in Spokane County, and the other from the Spokane Violent Crimes Gang Enforcement Team.

Jessie spears is 23 years, has a criminal record that started seven years ago, and has tattoos on both sides of his neck, below his eye, and above his eyebrow.
