SEATTLE -- A woman was hit by a car in a crosswalk late Friday night, according to police.

A Honda Accord was travelling east along Virginia Street at 2nd Avenue when the car struck the pedestrian, Seattle police say.

Investigators say the car stopped for a moment, then drove off without helping the pedestrian.
