Greyhound bus passengers will pick up the bus at new location in SODO starting next week.

SEATTLE- For the first time in over 75 years, the Seattle Greyhound bus station will be moving to the SODO district.

Greyhound Lines announced they will be operating from a new location at 503 S. Royal Brougham Way.

Greyhound has operated in their downtown Seattle location for 75 years.

The Puget Sound Business Journal reports the current Greyhound station at 811 Stewart St. will be demolished to make way for a large hotel.

Greyhound will soon regret this massive mistake of a relocation choice soon as their buses get caught up in Game Day traffic that shuts the entire city down during the evening rush when people are getting off work. Good luck guys. You chose to jump out of the pan in into the fire! Seattle SUCKS!

It is sad to see them move. Though it is closer to the Amtrak’s newly remodeled King Street Station, it is the history at 811 Stewart St. that I will miss. I did ride one time for $22 on Greyhound Lines from Everett, Wa to Seattle, Wa and back a few years ago. So I am happy that I got to use the old depot. Also I used to eat at the restaurant that was there. Just sad!
