How could this 31-year-old fake being high school student for 7 months?

LONGVIEW, Texas -- A 31-year-old Texas woman was arrested Sunday after she allegedly pretended to be a 15-year-old high school student under the alias "Charity Stevens," KLTV.com reported.

Charity Anne Johnson allegedly enrolled New Life Christian School in Longview, Texas in October of 2013. She's accused of using a fake ID to indicate her age and enroll as a sophomore.

Johnson reportedly claimed that she was abused by her mother and father, who were both dead, and needed a place to stay. She was given a guardian who found out about the alleged ruse and informed police and the school.

“I sympathized with her, and invited her into my home,” Tamica Lincoln, the woman who took Johnson in, told KLTV. “I took her in as a child, did her hair, got her clothes and shoes…”

Johnson was arrested for failure to identify/giving false, fictitious information.
