7-year-old boy pulled from Whatcom Falls, life-saving efforts under way

BELLINGHAM, Wash – A 7-year-old boy was found submerged in an undertow at Whatcom Falls Park Tuesday afternoon and rushed to the hospital, where life-saving efforts were continuing.

Vander Yacht with Bellingham Police said the boy was last seen around 1:30 p.m. by family members who were also at the park.

Police and Fire crews were called to the scene and family members assisted with the search.

The child’s body was recovered around 3 p.m.

Bellingham Police support officers were with the family offering help.

    I react to fear with anger, so my first question would be" why are the parents not paying attention?!" and my first thought would be " My God, I hope he is ok. God help him"
