Local musicians throwing benefit concerts for Oso slide victims
SEATTLE – Duff McKagan, The Presidents of the United States of America, Mark Pickerel are among a group of prominent local musicians that are playing a benefit concert for Oso slide victims. ACOUSTIC for OSO brings together Northwest musicians in a concert this Friday May 9th at The Triple Door club in downtown Seattle.
All proceeds will be donated to United Way of Snohomish County. This fundraising effort is presented in partnership by Seattle Theatre Group, Debra Heesch and The Triple Door. Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 the day of the show, and V.I.P. seating is $50. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.tripledoor.net.
On Monday, The Monarch Review literary and arts magazine is hosting a benefit for the Oso community at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard. Performing will be Mary Lambert, Star Anna and La Luz, with Marco Collins as emcee.
