Aberdeen Police investigating apparent murder of 63-year old man

ABERDEEN -  Aberdeen Police have one person in custody in connection to the apparent murder of a 63-year old man, found deceased on Saturday.  Police report that a woman called   9-1-1 just before 5 a.m.  Arriving officers found the deceased man inside the home in the 1400 block of Cherry Street.

The female caller was the only other person inside the home, police said.  A search warrant was obtained and executed by police.  The woman, a 45-year old Aberdeen resident, was arrested at the scene and booked into the Aberdeen jail on a charge of Second Degree Homicide.

The Grays Harbor County Coroner's office will perform an autopsy on the victim.  The man's identification and cause of death will be released  by the coroner pending notification of his family.
