ARLINGTON --  The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit provided the following updated list of missing people in the mudslide. The release of information is limited to name, age and city of residence.

The names of Steve Harris, 52, and Theresa Harris, 53, of Arlington, were removed Monday from the previous list of missing -- meaning their bodies apparently were identified by the county medical examiner.

Detectives have carefully reviewed each of these cases based on available information and conversations with family members. It is presumed that the people on this list are missing in connection with the slide. The original list contained 22 names, but names are being marked off as fatal victims are identified by the medical examiner's office.

Anyone who should not be on this list is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office tip line immediately at (425) 388-3845.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office will continue to work closely with the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office and will update this list as new information is made available.
