Tacoma firefighters rescue ducklings from sewer grate

TACOMA - It's all in a day's work.  Tacoma firefighters were wearing their "good guys/gals" hats when they rescued 6 small ducklings from a storm drain on Saturday.  The little birdies apparently fell through the metal grate while they and their mom were crossing the street near Stadium High School, the Tacoma Fire Department posted on their blog.

Firefighters sprung into action and borrowed a neighbor's pool skimmer to reach the ducklings, who were reportedly huddled in the outflow pipe, about four feet down.  You can see pics that Tacoma FD posted @ http://bit.ly/1nhWgXK
