Guess what's back this week...

SEATTLE -- I wish I had better news for kids out on spring break. Rain at times for today as a warm front moves across the region.

You'll see more rain the further north you are in Washington State- with the greatest amount of rain for the coastal areas and north of Mt. Vernon, WA on the I-5 corridor.

I'm still optimistic we'll see a sunbreak or two today. High temps about seasonal. Normal for Seattle is about 57 for mid-April.

TONIGHT we'll see still some rain in the area. Overnight lows in the mid 40s with lots of clouds.

TOMORROW looks like the wettest day of the week. In fact, it could be the wettest day of the month so far. I'm expecting about 0.25 to 0.50 inches of rain tomorrow and the wettest so far in Seattle this month was 0.18.

REST OF THE WEEK shows the normal on/off rain patter we expect for April. Dry for Friday, soggy on Saturday-- and at this point it looks like we're likely going to have a mostly dry Easter Sunday.

Overall we've been pretty dry this month with only about 17% of normal rainfall in the Emerald City. That's a welcome relief coming off the wettest March EVER on record for Seattle. And the month before also in the record books for being one of the top ten wettest months of February.
