ARLINGTON — The story of fundraising in the Highway 530 mudslide is a story of neighbor helping neighbor and friends helping friends.

As the earth moved, so too did the people of Arlington, Darrington and Oso in their desire to help each other.

Local business are collecting cash, clothing, food and even furniture to help put the lives affected by the Highway 530 Mudslide back together.

I put this video together as a way to show how closely tied all these towns are to one another, and to show along with the horrific tragedy, how much good is coming from the people of Snohomish County.
