SEATTLE — Athletes at Bellarine Prep and also at the University of Washington are wearing devices behind their ears made by a Seattle company, X-2 Biosystems, that measures the impact of a hit and sends information back in real time to trainers on the sidelines.

Rich Able, who is with X-2, discusses the device in this video report.
