Wilson’s Rangers jersey a hit
TEXAS — Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is a hot commodity these days, and not just in Seattle.
He’s capturing the attention of Texas, after he was picked by the Rangers in the MLB’s Rule 5 draft this December. After only one day at Rangers camp, his Rangers jersey is one of the bestselling MLB jerseys online–even though it’s unlikely he will ever play for the Rangers in the minors, much less on the big-league club.
The $125 jersey sold out at the souvenir store in Surprise, AZ by the fourth inning, when Wilson was in the Rangers dugout Monday.
