Rainy and windy in Seattle



SEATTLE -- Rain, rain with more rain on top. This will bring about some urban flooding during the heaviest downpours. There is an increased threat of mudslides down low and avalanches up in the mountains.

The main metro area gets 2 inches of rain by Thursday night and the foothills and coast get up to 6 inches of rain. All rivers will run high and fast. The winds will be gusting to 40 mph at times, especially Thursday. The snow level jumps to ,6000 feet Wednesday but falls again to 3,000 feet by Thursday.

Lows near 45 and highs near 55.
