More storms roll through Seattle

photoStormy night in Seattle. Wind gusts near 50mph before midnight. Strongest gusts will be at the beach and mountains. In fact at 3pm, White pass had a gusts of 73mph. Heavy rain with another inch or more. The ski areas are getting hammered. 50 -75 inches of snow has fallen in the last week. Another 20 -40 inches will fall between now and Tuesday. Avalanche danger is extreme. Monday will see some sun breaks and passing showers. Tuesday another strong storm rolls in with major mountain snow, heavy rains and strong gusty winds. Later in the week the weather improves with a sunny weekend on tap. at least we get a little sunshine around these storms. Walter. 2/16/14
