Roy dairy recalling Grade A raw goat milk due to possible E.coli

OLYMPIA -- The Laughing Goat dairy of Roy is recalling its Grade A raw goat milk because it may be contaminated with E.coli, it was reported Monday.

The dairy says its refrigerated raw goat milk bearing the "best if used by" dates of Feb. 11 to Feb. 19 has been recalled, The Olympian newspaper said.

Recalled milk was sold in Western Washington, including in the counties of Thurston, Pierce and King.

The Laughing Goat said it has not received any reports of human illnesses associated with the recalled product, but it recalling it out of precaution, the paper said.

Consumers who purchased the milk are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may call the company at 253-861-3905.
