Drug-smoking purse snatchers caught on camera

purse 9WANTED BY SEATTLE POLICE -- Seattle police need your help identifying a couple of drug-smoking purse snatchers who were caught on camera. Suspect number one is in the black. Clearly she doesn't belong in the employee-only area of the "arctic club" hotel in downtown Seattle -- casing the place and looking for something to loot. In the hotel's smoking area, cameras capture both suspects coming down the stairs and the stolen purse in the heavy-set woman's hand. They rummage through it on a bench, stealing credit cards they later tried using at a couple of stores. Then they celebrate the heist by smoking something from a pipe -- you can clearly see the woman in black taking a hit. From there, they head out an exit leading straight to the street. "Just put yourself in the position of the victim in this case. Not only is their purse being taken, their identity, their money, personal pictures. It just goes on and on and on. You're really hurting the individual who had that purse," said Retired Detectvie Myrle Carner with Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound. The heavy-set woman is wearing that baby-blue and black argyle hoodie. Her partner in black has a pink scarf with her hair in a long braid.
