WINLOCK – The town of Winlock, in Lewis county, is EGG-cited about the Seahawks, and they’re showing their pride and support in a BIG way. The town’s giant egg, a local landmark, has been painted in Seahawk 12th Man colors. The egg is visible for all to see, including passengers on nearby passing Amtrak trains. The fan support has reportedly spread throughout town: a huge statue of a chicken is having a Seahawk makeover, with its wings being painted in Seahawk colors.
Q13 viewers tell us that Winlock was once known as the ‘egg producing capital of the world.’ Now, with the Seahawks going to the Super Bowl, the town is getting even more recognition.
