Air stagnation advisory continues

SEATTLE -- Our weather pattern will be a quiet one through the weekend. A weak cool front sailing through has mainly affected the mountains and the coast with a few scattered showers. The lowlands remained mostly cloudy with a few sun breaks Friday afternoon.

We have an air stagnation advisory that the National Weather Service in Seattle has decided to extend until next Friday. Our current inversion will keep clouds and patchy fog in the forecast, especially during night and morning hours. Overnight lows will be in the freezing levels Saturday night, but temperatures will climb back into the mid-40s by kickoff time (3:30pm) Sunday.
