Sun and fog in Seattle; temps in 60s on beaches, in mountains

SEATTLE -- Fog and sun through Friday -- and likely through the end of this month.

The air quality suffers due to this inversion over us. That means the air quality becomes poor with all the pollution trapped at the surface.

Fog will be dense at times, but there will be some clear skies, too. The full “Wolf” moon will be Wednesday night, so enjoy.

The beach and mountains will be fog-free, so that allows them to warm up with highs in the 60s. The Puget Sound area stays around 50.

The Seahawks kick-off temperature on Sunday will be about 48, with mostly cloudy skies and light wind.
