Scientists track Beastquakes at CenturyLink Field

SEATTLE -- It's been three years since the original Beastquake, the most famous run in Seahawks history. The crowd was so loud it caused a measurable earthquake.

Scientists from the University of Washington are now regularly monitoring seismic activity at CenturyLink Field. Last week, they installed 'strong motion' sensors -- one on the upper level and one on the field.

This comparison shows the original Beastquake in 2011 (red) and Marshawn Lynch's touchdown Saturday (black) that helped seal the deal for the Hawks.

The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network even created a web site so that you can track seismic activity in real-time during Seahawks games.
