Steven Powell ordered to sell Puyallup home

PIERCE COUNTY -- A judge has ordered Steven Powell to sell his home in Puyallup. Powell was convicted of secretly photographing two girls and has to pay a nearly $2 million civil judgment.

According to the Salt Lake Tribune, the judge wants Powell to sell the home, so he can start making payments to the young victims.

Powell said selling his house in Puyallup would leave other family members homeless.

He is the father-in-law of Susan Cox-Powell who disappeared four years ago. Her husband then killed her sons and himself in Graham.
