Tuiasosopo accepts coaching job at USC

SEATTLE -- Less than a week after helping University of Washington's football program secure it's first bowl victory in years, interim head coach Marcus Tuiasosopo has accepted a job as a tight-end coach at USC, the Seattle Times reports.

Tuiasosopo will follow head coach Steve Sarkisian and defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox to USC. The Southern California university is expected to make Tuiasosopo's hiring official Monday.

According to the Times, new UW coach Chris Petersen offered Tuiasosopo a chance to remain at UW as the tight-end coach, but he declined.

The Huskies ended the season 9-4, the team's best record since the 2000 season. Tuiasosopo served as UW's quarterback coach for one season.
