missing-person-robinsonWENATCHEE – A missing 22-year old developmentally disabled man from Redmond has been found, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office reported Saturday.  Sheriff’s deputies had been asking for the public’s help in locating a young man last seen entering a stranger’s vehicle in Leavenworth Friday afternoon.

Sergeant Kent Sisson said that Robinson was located around 8 a.m. Saturday when he walked into the Redmond Athletic Club.  Robinson is in good condition and his family is happy to have him home, Sisson said.  What’s not known is how Robinson made his way back to Redmond from Leavenworth.

Tyler Jermaine Robinson, 22, is said to have the mental capacity of a 12-to-14 year old.

On Friday, Robinson was seen getting into a maroon, late model Jeep Cherokee SUV at the Icicle ’76 Food Mart in Leavenworth. Robinson’s family told police that  they didn’t know the driver, who was described as a while male between 35-45 years old. Witnesses say the maroon SUV was seen leaving Leavenworth westbound on State Highway 2.

Robinson’s family, who resides in Redmond, had been staying in Leavenworth the past few days.
