To thank Russell and his wife, Ashton, for their dedication, patients and staff recorded a video expressing their gratitude.

"Blue Friday may be the day Seattle's 12th man showcases their Seattle Seahawks pride, but at Children's, every Tuesday is Blue Tuesday," officials with Children's said.

From kids to adults, Wilson and his wife have touched many lives at Children's.

"He's just an all-around good guy, and they're an all-around amazing couple," Douglas Taliaferro, equipment coordinator at Children's said.
