Bellevue among top U.S. cities for hipsters

SEATTLE -- It seems Bellevue is among the best places in America for hipsters, according to a new data released by real estate firm RealtyTrac.

Bellevue came in at tenth place on the list, just one spot below Seattle's Belltown neighborhood.

RealtyTrac looked at factors like population percentage of 25 to 34-year-olds, the amount of renters, the average rental price for a three-bedroom home and the rate of rental vacancies. RealtyTrac reports that so-called "hipster neighborhoods" can be attractive to investors looking for rental properties with solid returns and low vacancy rates.

RealtyTrac's complete top ten list consists of:
1. St. Paul, Minn.
2. Pittsburgh, Penn.
3. Norfolk, Va.
4. Minneapolis, Minn.
5. Alexandria, Va.
6. East Rutherford, N.J.
7. Airlington, Va.
8. Iowa City, Iowa
9. Seattle (Belltown)
10. Bellevue
