RICHLAND — An angry bride was forced to spend her wedding night in a jail cell after biting her new husband during a domestic violence dispute at a Red Lion Hotel Saturday, the Tri-City Herald reported.

According to the Herald, the couple got into a fight at the Richland hotel shortly after exchanging their wedding vows. Police said the 40-year-old bride bit her 31-year-old husband on the arm in a spat of a drunken rage. Police were called to the scene.

Though the husband stood by his wife and refused to cooperate with officers, the bride was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and assault, the Herald reported. She spent the evening in a Tri-Cities jail cell.

It seems doubtful the doting husband would file charges against his new wife.
