Amber Alert canceled after missing newborn found safe

SEATTLE -- The Amber Alert for missing newborn Annabelle Martini was canceled Saturday morning shortly after 7:30 a.m., said Mill Creek Police Officer Sean Connor.

The Amber Alert was issued Friday night for the newborn who was believed to need medical treatment, but whose mother, Jamie Martini, vanished with the baby without seeing aid, police said.

The baby was born in an apartment in the 1100 block of Mill Creek Boulevard in the City of Mill Creek, which is about 20 miles north-northeast of downtown Seattle.

Police said Jamie Martini and her baby were found safe Saturday morning in the 3300 block of Reuben Shelton Drive on the Tulalip Reservation near Martini's residence, said Officer Connor.

Both were both transported to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett.

Providence Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Cheri Russum said Annabelle Martini is in satisfactory condition.

Police said Jamie Martini is also in satisfactory condition.
