What's in this fog? Another baby born on I-5

SEATTLE -- Make that two babies in two days.

The Washington State Patrol said a woman in labor needed to be assisted Thursday morning on Interstate 5 near South Willow Street, slowing northbound traffic and blocking the two left lanes.

Troopers said the 33-year-old woman was driving herself to the hospital around 7:30 a.m. Thursday when she experienced intense labor pains and had to pull over in the HOV lane. Aid workers called to the scene transported her to Swedish Medical Center, where she was expected to give birth.

A 22-year-old woman pulled over on the side of I-5 Wednesday morning while experiencing labor pains. She gave birth a short time later at Harborview Medical Center
