PORT TOWNSEND — A section of a bluff on the Port Townsend coast gave way last Sunday and came crashing down just after resident Kellie Henwood had walked past the area below.

Same thing happened in Port Orchard twice! Mud side mixed with trees slid off the bank and onto the two-lane road below. The 2nd time it happened it killed a woman visiting from Hawaii whose car got buried in the debris! It took her death for the county to fix it with tons of crushed rock. I won't travel in or out of Port Orchard using that route because the road beneath the slide area is caving in. Not sure I trust those hunks of rocks to stay put either.
