Tax Foundation report: Washington ranks 6th in nation for business tax climate

washington state sealSEATTLE — For the third year in a row, the Tax Foundation, a nonprofit, nonpartisan group, ranks Washington sixth for business tax climate. According to the report, Washington’s lack of a personal income tax is attractive to businesses who are competing for talented workers.

New Jersey, New York and California are considered the worst.

However, when it comes to sales-tax burden, Washington ranks 48th. You can read the full report here.
