Boy safe, dad arrested in canceled Amber Alert

SEATTLE -- A brief Amber Alert put Seattle on edge Sunday afternoon, lasting an hour before a 2-year-old boy and his biological father were located, Seattle police said.Witt.

Emiliano Gonzales Sr., 38, had a no contact order with his son. However, according to police, Gonzales arrived at the child's home and got into a verbal altercation with the boy's mother around 4 p.m. in South Seattle.

When the boy's mother attempted to call 911, Gonzales snatched her phone and broke it, police said.

An Amber Alert was quickly issued for the boy. Within an hour, Gonzales turned himself in to police in Tukwila. He was arrested booked into the King County Jail.

The boy, who was uninjured, was returned to his mother.
