Greek Mythology meets roller disco? ‘Xanadu’ is here!

SEATTLE -- ‘Xanadu’ may have been a flop at the box office when it premiered back in 1980, but it’s since turned in to a cult favorite, and the musical version was a surprise Broadway hit.

The Village Theatre’s production of ‘Xanadu’ stars real-life husband-and-wife, Dane Stokinger and Jessica Skerritt. Based on the movie starring Olivia Newton John and Gene Kelly, the show combines Greek Mythology with disco balls and leg warmers, all in the name of love. It’s a fun show for the whole family, and there are matinee and evening performances available.

‘Xanadu’ is running now through October 20th at the Village Theatre Issaquah; it then runs at the Everett venue from October 25th through November 17th. For tickets, head to villagetheatre.org
