SEATTLE — Saturday morning, Seattle firefighters were flagged down by passersby who had found a man lying on the sidewalk near the intersection of 4th Avenue South and Edgar Martinez Drive South.
The man was under a blanket, off the road. When medics examined the man, they determined he was dead.
Homicide detectives said the man, in his 50s, had suffered blunt force trauma injuries.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death. The man’s identity has not been released.
