Police search for suspect who escaped from patrol car

SEATTLE -- The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help locating Adrian Gomez after he escaped from a patrol car.

There are multiple warrants for Gomez’s arrest, including resisting arrest, obstructing law enforcement,  and two counts of driving with a suspended license in the first degree. Gomez is also being investigated by for unlawful possession of a firearm and escape.

According to investigators, on Sept. 28, Gomez was pulled over during a traffic stop in the Parkland area. Police also said he had a loaded firearm. Gomez was taken into custody, but escaped through a window of a patrol car.

Adrian Gomez is a Hispanic male, 23-years-old, 6- feet tall and weighs 225 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Gomez has “253” and “West Side” tattooed on the right side of his neck, and a small teardrop tattooed below his left eye.  Deputies said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
