Seattle named gayest city in the nation

gay flagSEATTLE — Seattle is now the gayest city in the nation. The Seattle Times reports the Emerald City has the highest percentage of gay-couple households of any city in the U.S.  New numbers from the United States Census Bureau show 2.6 percent of Seattle households are gay couples.

That knocks San Francisco out of the lead, with just 2.5 percent gay couples. The city by the Bay had held the top spot for the most gay couples since the Census Bureau began counting that statistic in 2000.

The Times says this is a sharp reversal from previous figures. Just two years ago, Seattle had only 1.7 percent gay households, while San Francisco had 2.4 percent.

Of gay households, 46 percent of Seattle’s gay couples are women.

That's because the gays have a ton of disposable income and Seattle is expensive. If people don't like it Im sure there is a gay couple that would love to buy your home so you can go live in Alabama with the other bigots.

So here it is shoved in our face again while claiming to want everyone to stay out of their bedroom. Want us out of your bedroom then you keep it in your bedroom.

Gay people will be offended by reading these comments and will tell you that it's about love and they just want respect. BUT try going to a gay pride event or parade and tell me it isn't about sex.

Am I the only conservative living in Seattle?

The morning after the Seattle Gay Pride parade I found a condom and a tube of lubricant on the ground. And they think regulating the sexual activity in their parades is "putting us back in the closet". Give me a break, heterosexuals don't run out in the streets half-naked shoving their sex life in everyone's face!

Excuse me there was a couple at a restaurant I was in the other night, the guy had his hand in her shirt and she was feeling him up under the table. Save your bullshit for someone else. Go watch Alki beach sometime, its disgusting what straight people do in public.

Everyday LIFE is a straight parade, folks. Gay pride is the one day per year when the LGBTQ community has a celebration of who they are. Let it be.

I don't understand these butthurt comments. Just be happy that Washington has a number 1 something lol. Plus the gays have lots of disposable income and are great for the economy in the city/state
