SEATTLE -- The Puget Sound Business Journal reported that Dr. Daniel Rubens of Seattle Children's Hospital has made another breakthrough in his research on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, commonly known as SIDS.

Rubens' latest discovery supports his earlier work that SIDS isn't caused by an infant's problem in their brain, but could be more closely linked with hearing and inner ear problems, the paper reported.
