Seattle-bound plane diverted to Boise after pilot has heart attack

SEATTLE -- A plane flying from Houston to Seattle was diverted to Boise after the pilot suffered a heart attack, a Boise airport spokeswoman said.

Shortly before 8 p.m. MST, United flight 1603 had to land at the Boise airport after the pilot radioed that he was experiencing chest pain. The pilot was taken to the hospital; his condition is unknown.

The plane is at the Boise airport and the airport is attempting to locate another pilot to fly the plane to Seattle.
